Financial need is assessed by the Office of Student Financial Aid based on the information you and your family accurately and truthfully submit on the International Student Application for Financial Aid. TWAS offers fellowships to young scientists in developing countries to enable them to spend between three and twelve months at a research institution in a developing country other than their own. DAAD Scholarships (Germany) for International Developing Countries 2013-2014

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) – Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst – supports a range of postgraduate courses at German universities which aim at providing academically educated young professionals from Developing Countries with further specialized studies. The DAAD supports these selected programs with a certain quota of scholarships and with financial assistance for a special tutoring system.
